Our beloved character, though befallen with tragedy, is determined to see through the darkness that bars him and stand side by side to the light.Epic Style has finally broken past his bars! All that is left for him is to march towards the shimmering future and leave his barred and scarred past behind him.. however, the past follows.. just like a shadow.Several deaths of possibly friends and mentors later, Epic Style has finally undergone enough character development to earn himself a sick backside picture of him triumphantly marching towards the light. This is the pivotal moment when Epic Style finally reaches the light after much trials and hardships. We see his “shadow-self” or the representation of his past slowly but surely disappearing. If this story line was to be a Disney movie script, the emotional and triumphant music would start playing right abouuut…. now.Epic Style has been through so much and now he has finally found his true self (his present self bathed in light). He has fully overcome his past and now his shadow is merely another one of himself. There is no more scarred and barred Epic Style who aimlessly wandered towards the light source. There is only THE Epic Style.
The picture I would like to use is the last picture where our main character and focus (the figurine), promptly named “Epic Style” through popular demand from my brain cells, is bathing in the light while, presumably, some inspirational Disney music is playing in the background. In all seriousness though, this picture has two focuses. Epic Style and his reflection or, in this story line, his shadow are the two main focuses. They were intentionally aligned to show the Thirds Rule which basically separates the picture into nine equal squares to form an invisible 3×3 grid on the picture with the main focuses being on the lines of the grid. Epic Style has been through a lot and the clear reflection of himself shows that he is now found and completely out of the darkness that has shrouded his life for so long. In the previous pictures, he always had a shadow (also all intentionally positioned to fit the Third Rule grid) that followed him. That shadow symbolized his dark past that he wanted to leave behind him. That shadow of the past has now turned into a reflection of himself because the only thing he sees now is the present. He has completely gotten over the past.
