Summer is when everyone looks for something new: new place, new friends, and new environment. This summer I was lucky enough to go to new place and make new friends in a new environment. Although it could’ve been a challenging experience to deal with, I decided to face it. Facing the challenges of overcoming fears of getting use to the “new” things around me, I would say I was the happiest girl on earth. I was able to visit so many historical sites and build relationships with amazing people. Even if I had to beat the heat and beat the obstacles that hindered me from trying new things, I happily took that experience as something that made me grow as a person.
