There is a strong usage of contrast in this picture. The photo is not only utilizing the “Frame in a frame” composition style, but it is also utilizing the contrast between the background and the main object. The background is completely black and shows no depth, but the main object shows a wide variety of colours to evoke a certain type of emotion from the photo. The brighter and lighter objects out-weight the background in visibility and colour to show also reflect life. Life will sometimes be the photo above, It is shining bright around a world of darkness. The photo can also show that it can be the opposite. Life can be also be dark, but surrounded by light. This composition style is really useful in making a clear highlight to the main object.
