The island of Saipan is surrounded by a vast ocean known to man as the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is one four oceans on our planet: The Atlantic, the Arctic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean. These oceans are vast, covering more than 70 percent of our planet’s surface. They are filled with all kinds of plant and animal life. However, pollution and global warming affects our oceans, killing reefs and other aquatic life. Perhaps, the oceans deserve to be better cared for in the future.
