Bodyboarding is a water sport in which a surfer rides the board and cruises along the waves. It was first invented in 1971 by the American surfer, Tom Morey. He first cut out a rectangular shape of polyethylene and covered it with newspaper. Currently, bodyboard is divided into three sections when it is made. The core, which is made of polyethylene, the bottom part, is made of Surlene, HDPE, or Bixby, and finally, the core, made of 8LB or CrossLink.
