A walk through American Memorial Park. American Memorial Park was created as a living memorial honoring the sacrifices that occurred during the Marianas campaign of World War II. As a result of the campaign, many soldiers and island residents lost their lives. The Memorial Court of Honor and Flag Circle, the Marianas Memorial, and the Carillon Bell Tower are the three distinct locations within the park. In addition, the park provides visitors the opportunity to observe wild life and the beauty of nature. A park environment like this is a significant place to satisfy physical activity requirements as well.
