The Northern Mariana Islands being composed of small, beautiful islands are surrounded with coconut trees. Although coconut trees accentuates the beauty of the natural scenery of an island, every part of a coconut tree is proven to be useful as well. For instance, the coconut tree trunk is commonly used in construction for it can be transformed into a durable timber. Partnered with a firm timber, coconut leaves are often used to produce roofing materials designed to absorb direct sunlight. Lastly, coconut roots have a lot of herbal benefits. Coconut roots are often the main ingredients for making mouthwash and several skin products.
