Through allowing Imperial Pacific (International Holdings Limited), a Chinese investment holding company located in Hong Kong, to build one of their casinos on Saipan, the island can attract more tourists and more locals to use, or gamble, their money. Imperial Pacific began their project of building ‘Best Sunshine’ in 2014 and opened the casino in the later year of 2017. The installment of the stated casino resort has allowed more financial circulation to flow through Saipan’s economic systems, resulting with a more secured economy for the island.
