Whether it be simply for fun or for competitive racing, cycling gradually became one of the most popular aerobic exercises around the world. Several cyclists even travel to other countries in order to compete in a cycling race. So why do most people love cycling/biking so much? Aside from the health benefits such as an improved posture and balance, cycling is environmentally friendly as well. Cycling is highly encouraged as it reduces an individual’s carbon footprint. In addition, cycling is an excellent way to improve one’s mental health. It has been scientifically proven that focusing on the road while cycling helps enhance concentration and awareness, which can momentarily take away any stress or problems a person has.
