Palm trees are the trademark of the tropics. There are many kinds of palm trees, and over two thousand species of palm trees on earth. Many of these palm trees produce coconuts or dates. They grow in the tropical and subtropical regions. As such, they are commonly found on islands, where they are seen enjoyed by tourists and locals alike.
