Did you know that the world’s oldest living rose is about 1,000 years old and is grown on a wall of the Cathedral of Hildesheim, Germany? In 1945, allied bombers destroyed the cathedral and the rose bush survived! There are over 100 species of roses and yet, there is no black rose naturally created. Roses are great gifts to show someone you love and care about them and different colors of roses have different meanings to them as well.
